There are two hours left before the sun settles deep into the alleys of the old town. Just over three before it sinks into the sea behind Havana. Mateus del Pino Padrón knows exactly how much time he has for the walk back. “It takes me one hour and five minutes to get home,” he says. “I walk fast, but I can’t wait too long.”
